The Tawny Tortoise has been in business since 1988, although the store has previously operated under several other names. The store was founded and is still owned by Mary Alice Lambert. The Tawny Tortoise offers numerous gifts and products for nearly any occasion! It also features several doll collections and offers doll repair by the Dollmenders Doll Hospital!

One fun feature of The Tawny Tortoise are the themed rooms throughout the store. You are sure to find the gift or item you are looking for in one of our many rooms. From specialty foods and dolls on the main level to toys, books, candles, and more on the upper level, there is something for everyone!
